KCJNL - End of Season Tournament - Amazing Performances!

It was a fabulous way to end the Kent County Junior Netball League season with a fiercely contested tournament. With back-to-back matches, all players had to dig deep and were outstanding with their resolve, determination and leadership - Congratulations to all players; we couldn't be more proud of what you achieved yesterday!

This year is the first time we entered a U14 B team into the Kent County Junior Netball League (KCJNL), showing CFX's strength and depth in this age group. Captained by Camille Hansen, the U14 B's were keen to learn from each game and give their very best every time they took to the court. Congratulations on receiving the KCNJL U14 Bs season runners-up medals, a superb and well-deserved achievement.

Our CFX U16s won a place in the opening tournament back in October 2021 to enter the U16 KCJNL, which we are very proud of. The season, however, was tough, and the girls fought so hard again and again. Not once did they lose spirit, determined to do their best for the team and club. As I watched our U16s yesterday, captained by Milly Constantine, I thought, WOW, they have saved the best till last; they were at times outstanding, winning the ball with tenacious defence and finishing it off with superb timing through the court - Well done, U16s, on your fantastic performances.

CFX U14s were on fire from the first whistle, fresh off the back of the regional rounds and finishing runners up. Co-captained by Aurora Kitts and Sophie Craig, they adapted very well to the changes playing from a larger squad. They performed with tremendous grit and determination, winning themselves a place in the final and only losing that to the tiniest margin, 8-9, to Aces Netball Club. The players' athleticism, strength and speed, and ability to read the game were breathtaking to watch - Congratulations, U14s, for receiving your KCJNL U14 As, season trophy and medals - Winners.

KCJNL presents an award to the player nominated with the most POMs during the year. Congratulations to Sophie Craig for being a runner-up for this most prestigious U14s KCJNL award.

Please may I say a special thank you to all parents, for your support over the season, without which we wouldn't be as strong as we are right now - It is much appreciated.

With love and appreciation
Denise
