Meet the CFX Team 6 of 8

6. Nikki Norris

Nikki has loved playing netball since she was at primary school and after secondary school she formed a team, with old school friends, as a great way to both stay in touch and keep up with their netball skills. For many years they enjoyed played together in Tonbridge, Swanley and Tunbridge Wells leagues before Nikki began her family.

After a career in Merchant Banking, and with both her children settled at St Michael’s School, Nikki decided to run a netball session for mums, once a week, in the school sports hall. This proved to be a great success and, as demand increased, she set up Saints Netball Club. Saints players are a great mix of mums, Old Michaeleans and girls who have grown beyond CFX (Y11+) but all of whom share a passion for the game, and Saints now has 5 teams in the Tonbridge Netball League.

Nikki is a qualified Level 2 Netball Coach and holds Emergency First Aid, Safeguarding and Protecting Children certificates and a C Award Umpire. She umpires local and county leagues, coaches CFX Hi5 (Y4’s), works part time coaching Y3-Y13 at Walthamstow Hall and runs Back 2 Netball sessions at Edenbridge Leisure Centre – netball plays a huge part in Nikki’s life and she loves every minute!
